Folklore, myth, legend, childhood tales, they all tell of witches and magical beings but ordinary mortals doesn’t believe in their existence and the little that do often have preconceived thoughts on how wonderful that life must be. But having powers isn’t all it’s build up to be and no one knows that better than Sophie, Jessica, Mia, Alicia and Roxanne. All raised as witches the girls never had an option for their inheritance and when they were young having magical powers seemed like an amazing future.
The girls soon grew up to realise that there was more to being a witch than having powers and any amount of a normal life wasn’t going to come easily. There were rules and regulations that they had to keep by, rule one: No personal gain, so much for the fun of having powers then. Though it proves difficult the girls are adamant to have normal lives out with their demon battling and involvement in witchcraft.
Every day they risk exposure all to keep innocent people of New York safe and every day they sacrifice that normal life they covet. If ridding the town of demons and battling to have a regular life isn’t enough the girls have expectations to meet of the higher powers, facing consequences if these are not met and thus losing any normality that they may have attempted to build in the process.
These expectations include using their powers for the right reasons or risk having them taken from them. But what are the right reasons? Is there really such a strong line between right and wrong?
Trying to maintain a level of respect from the higher powers continues to put strain on the girls personal lives and families. Not only do they risk their own lives but those of anyone close to them. It would almost seem like battling demons was the easy part in life.
Life is filled with challenges and though some win some too have to lose.

Sullivan & Cooper Private Investigation
Everyones heard horror stories and urban legends. Ghosts, demons, werewolves, the boogieman; they’re all make believe right? These stories are for entertainment or to teach us a lesson, a moral, or used to scare young children in the eerie shadows cast in the night. Monsters under beds and in closets, vampires, freaks of nature and evolved beings, they’re all just in the movies, they don’t exist...they don't exist?...
But then...what if? What if these monsters do exist? What if there is more out there than we think? What if everything we thought to be the imagination wasn’t? What if there’s more to a crime than meets the eye? What if the cause means deliberate harm? And what if that means of harm is something only found in nightmares?
We live in a world that is so unaware to everything around us. We make excuses for what we see, believe we are simply tired and cast a blind eye at what may prove to be more than a simple glitch. We have been taught to look for logic, or more correctly, what innate teaching we believe logic to be. The world has evolved technologically, humans have changed and learned to control and survive but few ever looked and seen that the human race is also evolving in ways many cannot begin to comprehend. It is small to start, as with everything, but it is starting...
Many are different, adapting to this new era though human nonetheless. Others are different and always have lived in the shadows but now times are changing and the shadows are no longer able to hide the secrets of this world. Creatures exist that we never would have imagined, those that are the wonder of your most beautiful dreams and the terror of your wildest nightmares. They are very real and many are very dangerous. Supernatural, extraordinary, abnormal, whatever you wish to call those who are different need not matter for they are out there...
Sullivan and Cooper Private Investigation are no ordinary investigation groups; they are aware of these creatures and know that like with everything else in this world the good comes with the bad. It is understandable many of these creatures once only preceived in stories just seek help and refuge from the horror of human society but Sullivan and Cooper also understand many beings out there are dangerous and bloodthirsty and will not rest until stopped.
A new world is slowly revealing itself to humanity. Dangers thought impossible are proving to be very real indeed. Someone has to take the responsibility to watch over this world and protect it from both the supernatural and from ourselves.
