Folklore, myth, legend, childhood tales, they all tell of witches and magical beings but ordinary mortals doesn’t believe in their existence and the little that do often have preconceived thoughts on how wonderful that life must be. But having powers isn’t all it’s build up to be and no one knows that better than Sophie, Jessica, Mia, Alicia and Roxanne. All raised as witches the girls never had an option for their inheritance and when they were young having magical powers seemed like an amazing future.
The girls soon grew up to realise that there was more to being a witch than having powers and any amount of a normal life wasn’t going to come easily. There were rules and regulations that they had to keep by, rule one: No personal gain, so much for the fun of having powers then. Though it proves difficult the girls are adamant to have normal lives out with their demon battling and involvement in witchcraft.
Every day they risk exposure all to keep innocent people of New York safe and every day they sacrifice that normal life they covet. If ridding the town of demons and battling to have a regular life isn’t enough the girls have expectations to meet of the higher powers, facing consequences if these are not met and thus losing any normality that they may have attempted to build in the process.
These expectations include using their powers for the right reasons or risk having them taken from them. But what are the right reasons? Is there really such a strong line between right and wrong?
Trying to maintain a level of respect from the higher powers continues to put strain on the girls personal lives and families. Not only do they risk their own lives but those of anyone close to them. It would almost seem like battling demons was the easy part in life.
Life is filled with challenges and though some win some too have to lose.
The Watchers Magical beings whom work direct for 'The Higher Power' they roam the mortal realm viewing the behaviour and development of magical beings, they are to observe and report back to the higher power's that be.
The Cleaners Beings whom are able to adjust events, if the Watchers report a grieviance regarding a magical beings behaviour, punishments are ensured. The cleaner would often be sent to restore time, to change any damage that had been done and even sometimes be sent to erase memories.
The Seekers Beings whom are able to track other magical beings by mind alone, they are like walking GPS's. Seekers are naturally pleasant, quiet and detest any form of violence. They rarely have anything to say and are often found close to a hunter, as Seeker's aid Hunters.
The Hunters The being's of complete destruction. If a magical being has been reported by the watchers, they have 3 types of repercussions, the first a form of warning, depending on the seriousness of the vent. The first warning is that the Cleaners will erase whatever harm has been done and then you will be on probation. The second is that the Cleaners are sent to remove your power's and the last and far scariest is, The Hunter and The Seeker will come for you. This only really happens when some form of murder or attack is commited, from a magical being against a human innocent. When this happens the Seeker locates the accused and the Hunter makes his attack.
The Angels Angels are much like Guardians, only Angels are not assigned to protect just singular people, they are in charge of protecting every being.
The Angels have lived on the earth for many years and are adapt for human life, they blend in with those who walk the earth and are usually unknown to the outside of there origin.
Angels are far more powerful then guardians and act as there mentors on most occassions.
Each Angel is assigned to a Guardian, whom they train and prepare to teach other beings whom they are then assigned too.

The Guardians Beings whom overlook the safety of other magical beings. The Guardians work directly for the Higher Powers that be and are if anything locating and training up future poweful beings.

Spirits/Ghosts Lost souls who still roam the mortal world, most spirits are those who were unworthy of becoming guardians

Hunters Note, do not confuse with the hunter beings.
Hunters are just humans or demons whom hunt and kill other magical beings.
