Folklore, myth, legend, childhood tales, they all tell of witches and magical beings but ordinary mortals doesn’t believe in their existence and the little that do often have preconceived thoughts on how wonderful that life must be. But having powers isn’t all it’s build up to be and no one knows that better than Sophie, Jessica, Mia, Alicia and Roxanne. All raised as witches the girls never had an option for their inheritance and when they were young having magical powers seemed like an amazing future.
The girls soon grew up to realise that there was more to being a witch than having powers and any amount of a normal life wasn’t going to come easily. There were rules and regulations that they had to keep by, rule one: No personal gain, so much for the fun of having powers then. Though it proves difficult the girls are adamant to have normal lives out with their demon battling and involvement in witchcraft.
Every day they risk exposure all to keep innocent people of New York safe and every day they sacrifice that normal life they covet. If ridding the town of demons and battling to have a regular life isn’t enough the girls have expectations to meet of the higher powers, facing consequences if these are not met and thus losing any normality that they may have attempted to build in the process.
These expectations include using their powers for the right reasons or risk having them taken from them. But what are the right reasons? Is there really such a strong line between right and wrong?
Trying to maintain a level of respect from the higher powers continues to put strain on the girls personal lives and families. Not only do they risk their own lives but those of anyone close to them. It would almost seem like battling demons was the easy part in life.
Life is filled with challenges and though some win some too have to lose.

Ilona noticed that Ethan didnt take long before he'd gone. Yes, it was bad but at the same time she was grateful, she couldnt cope another 5 minutes of the guy.
"That'd be correct. But, you know when you say it like that. It sounds kinda weird.."
She laughed lightly watching as Nick stood there. You could tell that he wasnt at all normal, there was this radiance that he gave off. Not an obvious glow but a healthy tinge, to healthy and nice to be human..she couldnt explain it.
"Neither of you are hurt are you? i'm sorry about that..i wasnt entirely sure what he was going to do and from a far i couldnt tell what your role was in the scenario.."
With a smile she turned to Tyler and took his hand. Turning back to Nick she smiled "He's an innocent." she informed without a doubt.
"So Ethan, whats the plan for him? your not gonna just let him get away right?"

Tyler watches the guy as he speaks, seeing the same thing as Ilona, seeing the glow, seeing the goodness practicularly radiating out of him. Shit, he wishes he was that kind of species instead! But he relaxes his stance totally as he can't help trusting him. If you can't trust an angel, who can you trust, right?
"That'd be correct. But, you know when you say it like that. It sounds kinda weird.."
Tyler actually smiles at that comment. "Yeah... kinda sissy, huh?" he says, a small chuckle emenating from his throat.
"Neither of you are hurt are you? i'm sorry about that..i wasnt entirely sure what he was going to do and from a far i couldnt tell what your-" he moved his watch to Tyler now talking to him "-role was in the scenario.."
Tyler's smile slips at that. "Yeah, I get it," he mutters, looking down. "I get that a lot."
"No, I'm not hurt," he adds as an afterthought. But he turns to Ilona immediately and studies her chest. "He didn't cut you, did he?" he asks quickly.
"He's an innocent."
He lets her take his hand, squeezing hers lightly. He cringes as she calls him that though. "Uh I'm not exactly an innocent..." he can't help blurting out. "You're right, I'm a demon. But I'm not evil."
"So Ethan, whats the plan for him? your not gonna just let him get away right?"
Tyler's head snaps up. "If you're going after him, I wanna be there," he says quickly, the anger returning to his eyes.

"Uh I'm not exactly an innocent...You're right, I'm a demon. But I'm not evil."
Nick couldnt help but laugh. Those demons and there pride. No matter how 'innocent' or 'nice' they were they always had a large sense of pride.
"So Ethan, whats the plan for him? your not gonna just let him get away right?"
Opening his mouth to answer he was cut off by Tyler as he spoke up also. "If you're going after him, I wanna be there," well that was a start, he needed more body power against that son of a bitch.
Raising his hands defensively he spoke "Just wait a sec" he insisted slowly lowering his arms again "We cant just go after him. It's not that simple. You see..Ethan's different. Not just demon different. He's got help..from i cant even begin to imagine but it makes him stronger then most. Some might say..maybe..undefeatable-" he dared say it but quickly added "Were looking into it" they were, they had been for sometime now. Ethan had been a huge priority for them.
"You're both welcome to come along. We could do with strength in numbers.."

Ilona didnt like that word not at all. Were looking into it? meaning were wishful thinking. She couldnt abide by that, no sir. This guy he was dangerous.
"Look we will quite happily help you out in whatever way we can but im not comfortable with this. The possibility..you need be certain before you start rallying up the troops. Cause if we all attack this guy and he's stronger, we would have bought the fight for no purpose" Ilona stated looking concerned.
"I cant work with uncertainties. You need to give us something to work with here. Anything.."

Tyler frowns slightly, unnerved as Nick laughs at him. What did he say wrong? he wonders to himself. He was being carcastic about the 'not exactly innocent' comment... he knows he's far from innocent... Almost as far as you can get! He folds his arms across his chest as the guy continues talking, a little insulted now.
"We cant just go after him. It's not that simple. You see..Ethan's different. Not just demon different. He's got help..from i cant even begin to imagine but it makes him stronger then most. Some might say..maybe..undefeatable-"
"Different? What kind of different?" he asks quickly, wondering what kind of demon this Ethan really is... he shakes his head at his undefeatable comment. "No, he isn't. He seemed to be slightly scared of facing me with my power. Plus everyone, no matter how supposedly undefeatable, always have weaknesses..."
"I cant work with uncertainties. You need to give us something to work with here. Anything.."
"She's right," he adds with a nod, looking between Ilona and the angel. "You have to tell us what you know. I mean you say he's different and that he has help, but... you haven't explained that at all. How do you know he's different? How do you know he has help? And if it's some kind of angel knowing thing, how come you don't know everything about him then?"

Nick sighed heavily as Ilona questioned him. She had a valid point, he was glad to see she had a good head on her and opted for answers instead of approaching a situation all guns blazing. It showed that she was far more dedicated to getting the job done properly rather then having the most fire power.
"Different? What kind of different?"
Nick turned his head to Tyler as he spoke. It wasnt about a particular species, more so on the true nature of Ethan.
"No, he isn't. He seemed to be slightly scared of facing me with my power. Plus everyone, no matter how supposedly undefeatable, always have weaknesses..."
Nodding he totally agreed but he had yet to see this demons weakness. From what he had seen Ethan was absolutely sadistic. Hell he'd even killed in broad daylight infront of viewing eyes. Hardly someone who had something to fear?. Maybe he was scared of Tyler because unlike himself Tyler was pretty much a pure blood demon in comparrison to Ethan who was not born this way. Deeming him..weaker.
"I cant work with uncertainties. You need to give us something to work with here. Anything.."
Nick turned to Ilona again as she spoke. Then Tyler spoke too. The angel looked between the two. He had limited knowledge of Ethan. Though they were supposed to stop him the higher powers always kept info to themselves, simply because they needed to learn as they moved closer to the finale. He didnt get it himself, considering they'd knew all along who Ethan was..it was just how they did things.
"You have to tell us what you know. I mean you say he's different and that he has help, but... you haven't explained that at all. How do you know he's different? How do you know he has help? And if it's some kind of angel knowing thing, how come you don't know everything about him then?"
Sighing heavily he felt a little useless. Turning his eyes to Tyler he grumbled "I'm not the one in charge here." he pointed upward with his index finger "They have all the information. I'm limited..but that doesnt mean im completely incapable." dropping his arms athis sides again he continued "Ethan is different because he wasnt born a demon. He was a human. Born and raised into a normal family" shared Nick.
"Sometimes when normal people find out about us. About our world, it gets messy and sometimes beings collide. After Lillian was exposed to such things we sent the cleaners to erase her mind. However, somewhere along the line someone was misinformed and..the hunters killed her. I'm not sure if you guys are aware of those beings and i can explain later on. But, Ethan he vowed revenge. Traded his soul to a demon in return for power. Now he's out to get everyone" He showed a massive ammount of concern toward the idea of how none of them were safe.

Ilona listened intentively as Nick began to inform them on Ethan. It was somewhat unexpected to hear that Ethan had been human and that he actually was doing all of this out of vengeance. In a way you had to really sympathise because this guy had lost his world and there for now had lost his way.
Nevertheless he was still evil, a murderer and basically one of the creatures she vowed to hunt to save lives. He was a demon, a bad one at that and he needed to be stopped.
Nodding she turned her a glance to Tyler then looked back at Nick "I hate to point this out. But, no wonder he's after everyone. I'm not well informed of these beings but i know one thing..that they all work for you, the good guys" Ilona stated with a look of annoyance. The good guys had done wrong, they were at fault. This was there mess. Maybe not so much Nick's but more so any higher being who clearly werent up for clearing there own mess which would be left to them to do.

Tyler continues to frown between them, the conversation confusing him more and more. "Who the hell's Lillian?" he asks with a shrug. But he doesn't need an answer as she seems to have been close to Ethan somehow.
"They have all the information. I'm limited..but that doesnt mean im completely incapable." dropping his arms athis sides again he continued "Ethan is different because he wasnt born a demon. He was a human. Born and raised into a normal family"
"He became this by choice?!" he asks incredulously. "Why the hell..." Tyler, himself has been through heartache, but... It didn't send him evil... and he was already a damned demon!
"I hate to point this out. But, no wonder he's after everyone. I'm not well informed of these beings but i know one thing..that they all work for you, the good guys"
He shakes his head at Ilona. "I don't care," he shrugs. "Yeah, the angels fucked up, which kinda surprises me but... that doesn't give anyone an excue to go killing other people. Ethan's puting other people through what he went through now, taking loved ones from them and all that. How can he think that's ok?" It's a rhetorical question, he's more thinking out loud. "So I don't care what he's been through, cos he obviously doesn't give a shit about what he's puting others through. We kill him, pure and simple. And if we have to use this Lillian information to get him, then so be it."

Nick also hated that she had to point this out. Ilona had a point though, they'd been the ones completely responsible for all of this. Not so much he personally but as a general species. No one could be spared.
He himself believed that the approach of cleaning such a mess up was wrong. Lillian shouldnot have been harmed, but she was and that wasnt necessary. It could have been easily avoided if taken up with more care.

Nick nodded agreeing with Tyler. He was right, being nice about this, trying to talk him around was not an option anymore. He was past the point of no return.
"You're right. The only thing that concerns me here is how we get to him. You've seen what he can do, ive seen that hes not afraid to take things into the open, we have to be very careful with approach cause if were not. A lot of people are going to die."
